General troubleshooting steps for all Xfinity services
1.      Make sure that the device connections are "finger-tight", including the coaxial cable from the wall to the back of the device.
2.      Make sure all power cords are connected and connected to a working electrical outlet or power strip.
3.      If all devices are connected correctly, make sure that you activate your services online or by phone to use your Xfinity services. Learn how to activate the options for activating your self-installed kit devices. Note: The X1 video service cannot be activated online. If the on-screen activation doesn't work, you need to contact Comcast. How to fix Xfinity outage and Xfinity bill pay problems

·         Note: To avoid interruptions in scheduled services, it is important that you activate your devices in your new home within seven days of the move-in date originally planned with Comcast. For new customers, activation is especially important for orders with Xfinity Voice, as long waiting times can result in loss of the dial tone or loss of the telephone number. Activate all of your devices immediately for best results.

Xfinity TV
1.      Check that your TV and TV box are connected and switched on.
2.      Remember to insert batteries in your remote control.
3.      For HD-TV and HD-TV boxes, make sure that your TV input is set to HDMI or component, depending on the cables used to connect the TV box to the TV.

Xfinity Internet
1.     Make sure you are connected to the network either by logging in with your WiFi network name and password or by using an Ethernet cable. If you are prompted to create a unique WiFi name and password for your home WiFi network, follow the on-screen instructions.
2.     If you are properly connected, restarting your modem will often restore the Internet connection. The easiest way to do this is to disconnect the cable modem from the electrical outlet for two minutes. After reconnecting the cable modem, wait for connectivity to be restored (up to five minutes). Below you will find modems including telephone service. You can also restart your modem remotely using the Xfinity My Account app. Log in, tap Internet and restart this device. For more information on restarting your modem, see Restarting Your Wireless Gateway, Modem, or Router.
3.     Finally, you may need to restart the device that you use to access the Internet. If this does not restore your service, go to the troubleshooting information for problems with your Xfinity internet or WiFi connection.

Conclusion
For Xfinity Voice customers, try restarting the modem by clicking the reset button on the back of the modem. Press the reset button until the lights on the front of the device go out. Release the reset button and wait until all the indicator lights come on again. For details on Xfinity activation, explore the website.
