So
you finally cut the cable and want an on-demand streaming service. There are
many options, but Hulu is one among the simplest. Should you take the plunge?
How many people can see Hulu at an equivalent time? How many devices can access
Hulu? This quick start guide provides information about sharing Hulu accounts,
plans, concurrent streams, add-ons, and more like Hulu actiavate and Hulu buffering issues.
How many
devices can stream a same time?
As
of December 2019, you can stream Hulu (with and without ads) on two devices
simultaneously in any network across North America.
Hulu
+ Live TV gives you the option to purchase the Unlimited Screens add-on for an
additional $ 9.99 a month. You can stream from an unlimited number of devices
on your home network at the same time. The only exception are the premium
channels HBO, Cinemax, Showtime and Stars, for which up to five screens are
permitted at the same time. When you're on the go, you and your friends can
stream Hulu to up to three mobile devices at the same time with the add-on.
How do you
share a Hulu account?
Hulu
profiles
There
is no special way to share your account with others. Simply enter your login
information and you're ready to go. General profiles have access to account
settings, although users can only see the last four digits of your payment
method. Children's profiles do not have access to account settings.
How many
profiles can you create?
Up
to six people can create a profile. You can create a general profile with
access to everything Hulu has got to offer. Profiles for children are linked to
the Kids Hub.
What are the
plans?
You
can stream basic services and services without ads on supported devices on any
network in North America. Unfortunately, Hulu is not officially offered in
other countries, although there are ways to get around it, such as using a VPN.
Here
are the plans:
•
Hulu (with ads): $ 5.99/m
•
Hulu (no ads): $ 11.99/m
•
Hulu (with ads) + live TV: $ 54.99/m
•
Hulu (no ads) + live TV: $ 60.99/m.
How many,
Hulu?
Hulu
On-Demand enables one simultaneous screen or stream per account. Your Hulu
account can be registered on any number of devices, but only one device can be
used for Hulu On-Demand at a time.
Hulu
with live TV, on the opposite hand, allows two simultaneous screens or streams
per account. As with the on-demand service, you can sign in on all your
devices. This limit only applies to the number of screens that can be used
simultaneously.
